Sale Of Beckingham Palace

David and Victoria ‘to sell up’ their £18m home as they settle permanently in Los Angeles

Soccer star David Beckham and wife Victoria have decided to put their famous 18 million pounds English residence, Beckingham Palace, up for sale. The couple have made Los Angeles their home for the last five years and have now decided to settle there permanently, reported Mirror online.

They have also decided to sell their 2.5 million pounds French house to cut their ties from Europe. “David and Victoria have been wanting to sell up for a couple of years now but the

timing was never right. They didn’t want to lose money, putting their homes up for sale during a slump in the market. So, after getting it valued two years ago, decided to hold off until now,” a source said.

“They have made LA their home, and the kids are settled there,” the source added. The couple bought Beckhingham Palace’s sprawling 22-acre estate in 1999, shortly after tying the knot. They also bought a seven bedroom house in France in 2003, but have barely spent any time in it.

The Beckham clan moved to LA in 2007 so that David, 36, could take up a spot playing for local team LA Galaxy. They have since made it their home, with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz settling into schools in the city. And during their time in the States they also welcomed daughter Harper into the world.
